A New Web Site to Track Earthquakes

Have you ever wondered just how many earthquakes are happening in the world? How about sunspots? Well a new website by the same people that bring you this one is the place to go to find these things. Its called Dragon's Watch and the home page has graphs showing how many quakes have hit in the last 30 days.

Charts on this new website show the total number of quakes and the number of quakes related to strength. In addition, overlayed on these is the number of sunspots, the amount of geomagnetic disturbance on the earth and how much radio wave energy might be affecting electronic equipment. All of this is updated every hour. In addition, warnings from the Space Weather Prediction Service, part of NOAA, are posted whenever they come in.

Occasional comments from the webmaster always try to be controversial and invite forum comments. You can always find links to other websites about geology, weather and geophysical phenomena.
